Learning Management System Design
Learning Management Systems (LMS) design explores the ultimate needs and goals of an institution. In some cases, there are existing LMSs that fit these needs and in others, platforms are customized or built to meet requirements and specifications. Assessment of existing LMSs are preformed to determined the best solution for the institution.
Online Course Design
Transforming traditional courses into an online environment can be intimidating and seemingly impossible. By closely working with faculty to understand the essence of a course and it's objectives, a meaningful and engaging online experience for both the learner and the instructor can be realize. These offerings can vary from seminar courses to Massive Open Online Courses on diverse platforms.
Teaching
Trainings ranging from tutorial on technical tools and platform such as the designated LMS to Educational Technology pedagogy can be offered to support understanding of technology's value in teaching and learning.
Coaching and co-teaching can further enhance only not confidence but inspire use of technology in innovative ways.
Professional Development Training and Coaching
Exploring the innovative applications of media and technology to augment a reflective teaching practice and integrate these applications into existing pedagogy has been central in my teaching. By applying the results to diverse educational systems and across cultural boundaries, I am dedicated to engaging all levels of students and do so by creating simple entry points for digital instructional and project based uses. My goal is to discover purposeful ways to incorporate this approach into practice while allowing for deeper levels of inquiry and remaining on the cutting-edge of technological advances.
